Lewis Brisbois Expands Labor & Employment Capabilities in Rhode Island with New Partner Hire
In addition to counseling clients, Mr. Tumolo has extensive experience litigating discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and whistle-blower claims. He has successfully defended employers in matters before state courts and administrative agencies in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Mr. Tumolo also represents employees in litigation, employment agreement negotiations, and career transitions involving non-competition agreements.

Outside of his practice, Mr. Tumolo has published various materials related to labor and employment matters and has testified as a subject matter expert before the U.S. Department of Labor. He also serves as Director of Legislative Affairs for the Rhode Island Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Employers Association of the NorthEast (EANE). He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
