GrayRobinson Welcomes Of Counsel Thomasina Moore to Labor and Employment Team

GrayRobinson today announced Thomasina Moore has joined the firm’s Labor and Employment Team as of counsel in Tallahassee, where she will regularly work with government agencies and businesses on employment matters, including Title VII, EEOC, and FCHR cases.

Moore has a diverse legal background in labor and employment law, appellate law, government law including employment, contracting, public records and ethics laws as well as juvenile law, including adoption interventions. She has successfully handled dozens of complex appeals throughout her career. Moore has argued before all Florida District Courts, the Florida Supreme Court, and has appeared before the Supreme Court of the United States. Moore also was selected by the Florida Supreme Court to serve on a committee created to write a rule for ineffective assistance of counsel in termination of parental rights cases. She is a leading voice across Florida’s legal industry for statewide pro bono projects. Moore is an active member of The Florida Bar Pro Bono Legal Services Committee, the Legislative Committee for the Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar, and serves as Legislative Director of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.

Moore received her juris doctorate summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center and her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Nova Southeastern University. Admitted to practice in Florida, Moore is board certified in Appellate Practice and Juvenile Law. Moore is also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit; and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Florida.
