Jackson Lewis Expands Los Angeles Team With Addition of Louis C. Klein
Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Louis C. Klein has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as a principal. Louis has more than 24 years of experience representing management in all areas of employment counseling and litigation.

Adler-Paindiris, Co-Chairs of the firm’s Litigation group, in a joint statement. “Lou is a skilled litigator who helps management stay compliant with today’s rapidly changing employment regulations. Lou focuses his practice on the full spectrum of employment law matters. He works with employers to find resolutions for workplace issues and problems before they escalate to litigation. When litigation is inevitable, Lou routinely engages in first line defense related to employee complaints, utilizing his years of successful litigation and trial experience.
Throughout his career, Lou has defended public entity and private clients in notable cases such as whistleblowing retaliation, sexual harassment and discrimination. He is experienced in all aspects of employment counseling, litigation, workplace investigation, case management, settlement and mediation practice, and trial practice.
Additionally, Lou has experience in trials, arbitrations and mediations of employment disputes, as well as participation in administrative proceedings before the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing ("DFEH"), the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC"), and the California Labor Commissioner. His day-to-day advice and counsel focuses on issues such as discipline and termination, wage and hour disputes, employment contracts for employees and key executives, workplace investigations, and other transactional/employment business advice.
