Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Alexandra M. Velella
Alexandra counsels and defends employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. She handles all aspects of the litigation process from beginning to end, including mediations, depositions, appeals and trials. With a background in handling workers’ compensation matters on the claimant sides, Alexandra has considerable knowledge of the claims process and offers unique insight to her clients.
Alexandra earned her bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College and her juris doctor from Brooklyn Law School. While attending law school, she served as an intern with the Family Court Legal Services in the Administration for Children’s Services. Following law school, Alexandra held a clerkship with the State University of New York at Albany, where she drafted memoranda regarding trademark and copyright use and web accessibility compliance standards established under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
