Ashurst bolsters Italian banking team with senior hire
Global law firm Ashurst announces the appointment of Luca Maria Chieffo as counsel in the Italian banking team.
Luca joins from Clifford Chance where he worked for 11 years in the Milan and London offices. Luca’s broad-based finance practice covers real estate finance, acquisition finance, corporate lending, and private debt. He has extensive experience advising lenders and borrowers on sophisticated and innovative financing transactions, often with a multi-jurisdictional element.

Luca's appointment follows that of Beatrice Melito who joined the firm as an associate from Freshfields, as well as a number of other hires within the team.
