Katherine L. Burkhart Joins Morrison Cohen
Morrison Cohen welcomes Katie Burkhart to the firm as an associate in the Technology, Data Privacy & Intellectual Property Group.
Katie joins us from Alston & Bird LLP, where she was an Intellectual Property Litigation associate.
Her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation in federal courts and administrative tribunals, trademark prosecution and portfolio management, trademark enforcement, intellectual property licensing, copyright and fair use analysis, technology agreements, providing advice with respect to privacy and data security considerations, and advising clients in their sale or acquisition of companies, and particularly with respect to intellectual property, technology and data issues. She has represented a variety of clients in various litigation matters, including trademark litigations, trade secret disputes and patent infringement litigation at the district and appellate court levels.
Katie graduated from University of California, Berkeley School of Law and the University of Chicago.
