McGlinchey Welcomes Alex Zamenhof to Commercial Litigation Team

McGlinchey Stafford is pleased to announce that Alexander Zamenhof has joined its national commercial and consumer financial services litigation practice as an associate in its New York City office. He joins from a boutique law firm in New York.

“Alex is an outstanding addition to the firm’s national commercial litigation team,” said Mikelle Bliss, managing attorney of the New York office. “The depth of his experience related to real estate lending and housing law, particularly in the state of New York, will be a tremendous asset to our clients nationwide.”

Alex is well-versed in state and federal compliance reviews for lender-side and mortgage-backed securities transactions. He has firsthand experience with real estate litigation in supreme and appellate courts, as well as surrogate/estate, eviction, and financial services litigation, mortgage review, bankruptcy, default servicing, mediation, and other civil practice. His experience includes work with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, New York Department of Housing Preservation and Development, Boston Housing Authority, and a summer practicing law in Brussels, Belgium.

“Alex makes a fantastic addition to our national team of consumer financial services litigators,” said Anthony Rollo, who chairs the firm’s nationwide commercial and consumer financial services litigation practice groups. “His experience complements our extensive industry knowledge, and I am confident that he will serve the firm’s clients well.”

Alex earned a law degree with distinction from Suffolk University Law School in 2015. While a law student, Alex studied at the University of Havana, Cuba and Lund University in Sweden. As an undergraduate student at the University of Massachusetts Boston, he studied International Law at Oxford University in England. He received a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in 2012.
