Tarter Krinsky & Drogin Continues Expansion; Adds David H. Wander and Alexander R. Tiktin to Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Practice

Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP is pleased to announce that David H. Wander and Alexander R. Tiktin have joined its Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Practice. They join us from Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, where David was Partner and Co-Chair of the Bankruptcy Practice, and Alexander was an Associate.

Both David and Alex focus their practice on representing companies and individuals in financial distress seeking debt relief and asset protection, advising creditors, trustees, and secured lenders on Chapter 11 reorganizations, due diligence, corporate restructurings, risk management, bankruptcy claims, and insolvency-related litigation.

Scott Markowitz, Partner and Co-Chair of the Bankruptcy Practice notes, “We are excited to welcome this remarkable team to our department. I have worked with David for over 25 years and am pleased he and Alex are joining our Bankruptcy Group, bringing greater depth to our Practice and to the Firm as a whole.”

David’s decades of experience navigating the complexities of New York Bankruptcy courts provides significant insight into representing secured and unsecured creditors, landlords, investors, and distressed debt purchasers, equipment lessors, intellectual property licensors, and licensees, trustees, examiners, and creditor committees. Alexander is well versed in bankruptcy issues and handling in and out of court proceedings.

“We are delighted to be a part of Tarter Krinsky & Drogin’s leading Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Practice, said David. “We look forward to expanding the practice and tapping into the Firm's full-service platform to serve the various needs of our clients.”

David and Alex both received their J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. David received his B.A. from Tufts University, and Alexander received his B.S. from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. David is admitted in New York and Alexander is admitted in New York, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, and U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York.
