Doman Joins Growing Spencer Fane Financial Services Practice Group in Kansas City

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Lindsay Doman has joined the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group as an associate in the firm’s Kansas City office, with an emphasis in the firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Creditors’ Rights practice.

Most recently, Doman spent two years as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Brian Fenimore, Chief Bankruptcy Judge in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri. Her duties included researching legal issues in Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy cases, drafting documents and summarizing motions, briefs, relevant case law and other materials relevant to the judge’s ruling.

“Financial Services continues to be a growing industry where our clients need comprehensive legal support,” said Julia Vander Weele, Office Managing Partner for Spencer Fane in Kansas City. “Our firm remains committed to providing efficient and collaborative legal services to meet our clients’ growing needs, and that requires measured, sustainable growth through the addition of attorneys at all stages of their legal career. Lindsay fits well with our culture and brings valuable experience that we look forward to utilizing.”

Doman completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin and later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. At Wisconsin, she participated in the Consumer Law Clinic, and during law school, she clerked for a Minneapolis law firm.

In addition, Doman has spent time as a clinical assistant with the Volunteer Lawyers Network’s Bankruptcy Advice Clinic.
