Jackson Lewis Adds Litigator Lita M. Verrier in Boston

Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Lita M. Verrier has joined the firm’s Boston office as a principal. Lita has more than 25 years of experience in all areas of business litigation, including theft of trade secrets, employment and the protection of intellectual property.
 
“Lita’s experience in non-competes and employment litigation is renowned among both her peers and clients,” said the co-leaders of the firm’s Litigation practice group, Nadine C. Abrahams and Stephanie L. Adler-Paindiris, in a joint statement. “Our team is thrilled to gain another outstanding litigator who will enhance our existing capabilities regionally and nationally.”  
 
Lita focuses her practice on complex business and high technology, employment, and intellectual property litigation in both Massachusetts and California. She counsels clients on matters involving misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, and complex cases involving a range of commercial, employment and intellectual property issues.
 
Lita has worked with businesses and high-tech companies from coast to coast on all aspects of business disputes and employment, both as plaintiff and defendant, and provides sophisticated advice to companies regarding their intellectual property rights.
 
“Lita joins us at a critical time when restrictive covenants and intellectual property matters are garnering significant attention,” said the co-leaders of the firm’s Restrictive Covenants, Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition practice group, Clifford R. Atlas and Erik J. Winton, in a joint statement. “She is an excellent litigator with first-chair trial experience and her insight will be an important resource for our clients facing complex matters involving restrictive covenants and other intellectual property issues.”
 
Lita earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and her B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
