Blank Rome Welcomes Government Contracts Associate in Washington, D.C.
Samarth joins Blank Rome from Hollingsworth LLP. He represents contractors and subcontractors in government contracts litigation, construction litigation, commercial and business litigation, and government contracts-related matters in state and federal courts nationwide. Samarth has handled bid protests before the Government Accountability Office, advised clients regarding the Small Business Administration’s procurement programs, and counseled contractors regarding the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement.
Samarth also has experience representing corporate policyholders in seeking to maximize coverage in commercial general liability insurance matters, in litigation arising out of overlapping coverage, and with respect to coverage issues arising out of product liability claims and workplace exposure to hazardous substances.
Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia, Samarth earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, and his B.B.A., magna cum laude, in Business Administration and Business Economics from Georgia State University.
