Karla Martinez White has joined Lane Powell as an Associate on the Commercial Litigation Team.
Martinez White is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses extensively on commercial general liability and property claims.
Prior to joining Lane Powell, Martinez White assisted domestic and international insurer clients on insurance coverage and defense issues. She also served as a legal intern at the Home Depot and the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia. In these positions, she obtained experience in different areas of law, giving her a comprehensive understanding of how to maneuver complex matters. While in law school, Martinez White was a research assistant to Professor Julian A. Cook III, K. Alton Hosch Professor of Law.
Martinez White received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law and her B.S., cum laude, in Natural Resources from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
