McGlinchey is pleased to announce that Tarush R. Anand has joined its national litigation practice in its Houston office as a Member (Partner).
With 15 years of experience, Tarush represents a broad range of domestic and international businesses in high-stakes civil and commercial litigation. He has significant trial experience in state and federal courts, as well as appellate experience, including presenting arguments and prevailing in the Fifth and Tenth Circuits.
“We look forward to adding a litigator of Tarush’s talent to our team,” said Deirdre McGlinchey, chair of the firm’s products liability and asbestos/toxic torts practice groups. “His experience in products liability, construction, transportation, retail, and commercial disputes is closely aligned with our litigation practice and it will provide tremendous value to our clients nationwide.”
Active in the Houston legal and business community, Tarush is the current president and board member of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston. He also is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, conference committee member of the National Retail and Restaurant Defense Association, member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, and member of Garland R. Walker American Inn of Court. He is the past president of the Indian-American Lawyers of Houston, past board member and officer of the Indo-American Charity Foundation, and past chair of the India House Legal Center.
