James V. Painter and Robin E. Daitch Join Drew Eckl & Farnham in New Augusta Office
Drew Eckl & Farnham is pleased to announce that James Painter and Robin Daitch have joined the firm as of August 1, 2021 in the firm’s new Augusta office. The Augusta office will be located at 801 Broad Street, Suite 501.
James V. Painter practices in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense. He represents hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, and other health care providers throughout Georgia and South Carolina.
Jim has obtained numerous medical malpractice defense verdicts in the State and Federal Courts. Along with medical malpractice defense, Jim also handles comprehensive general insurance defense. This includes suits involving allegations of premises liability, product liability, defamation, breach of contract, workers’ compensation, and automobile and trucking liability.
Robin E. Daitch focuses her practice in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense, hospital liability litigation, and general tort defense. Robin defends physicians, hospitals, professionals, and businesses throughout Georgia.
Admitted to practice in Georgia and Maryland, Robin began her legal career as a criminal prosecutor in Baltimore. After which, she moved to Atlanta where Robin served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia investigating and prosecuting complex white collar health care crimes at the State and Federal levels. Robin also served as in-house counsel for a local hospital system in Augusta where much of her work focused on regulatory compliance, premises liability defense, medical and nursing board complaints, and medical malpractice litigation.
