Labor and Employment Attorney Steven K. Girard Joins Warner
Labor and employment attorney Steven K. Girard has joined Warner Norcross + Judd as senior counsel.
Girard brings more than 34 years of experience in labor and employment law, working with municipal, health care and business clients. He regularly serves as labor and employment counsel for Michigan counties and cities, focusing his practice on collective bargaining agreements, arbitrations, civil rights, and general labor issues. He will practice in the firm’s Grand Rapids office.
Prior to joining Warner, Girard served as a member at Clark Hill PLC. He was also a founding partner of Nantz, Litowich, Smith, Girard & Hamilton. Girard also previously served as general counsel to the Michigan County Medical Care Facility Council for over 20 years. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Associations.
Girard holds a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Northern Michigan University and his law degree from Wayne State University Law School.
A native of the Detroit area, Girard resides in Ada with his wife, Angie.
