Accomplished Deal Lawyer Jeffrey Shah Joins McGuireWoods’ Global Private Equity Team in New York
McGuireWoods continues the strategic expansion of its highly ranked private equity industry team with the arrival of partner Jeffrey Shah, who brings more than a decade of experience in domestic and cross-border deals to the firm’s New York office.
Shah advises private equity funds and strategic acquirers on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships. He also assists clients with partnership, purchase and employment agreements and equity incentive arrangements. He represents clients in conventional and renewable energy transactions, as well as in healthcare and technology deals.
Shah’s notable transactions include assisting a global alternative investment firm in its $2.8 billion sale of an oil and gas exploration and production company. He has advised a multinational private equity firm in its formations and investments in new partnerships in Latin America, including midstream infrastructure companies in Argentina and Mexico.
