GrayRobinson, P.A. (GrayRobinson) today announced Seth Cohen has joined the firm as of counsel in the Orlando office.

“We are thrilled veteran tax attorney, Seth Cohen, is joining GrayRobinson as of counsel in our Orlando office,” said GrayRobinson Orlando Office Managing Shareholder Mike Neukamm. “With more than two decades representing clients before the U.S. government, as well as state and local taxing authorities, Seth’s extensive knowledge in taxation will be a nice addition to our highly esteemed tax and estate planning teams.”

Focusing his practice on taxation, regulatory law, and litigation, Cohen represents clients located inside and outside of the U.S. in their interactions with federal, state and local taxing authorities. This representation involves: tax examinations and appeals; federal, state and multistate voluntary disclosure agreements; state residency examinations, appeals and litigation; defense against tax penalties and enforced tax collection; criminal tax matters; and application to the IRS and/or states for rulings as to the tax treatment of transactions, reorganizations, transfer pricing, late election relief, and accounting method changes.

“I am excited to be joining a firm that embodies the same core values and vision that has driven my practice for the last 22 years,” said Cohen. “GrayRobinson’s reputation and significance made this an easy choice for me and my clients.”

Cohen received his law degree from the Boston University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Hunter College, where he completed the CUNY Baccalaureate Program. He is admitted to practice law in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, the Federal District Court of Connecticut, and the U.S. Tax Court.
