Perkins Coie added some legal strength to its Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice with the hiring of R. Bruce Steinert Jr. Bruce is to join Perkins Coie as a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office.
 
Perkins Coie Adds Seasoned Debt Financing Partner in San Francisco

According to a press release issued by Perkins Coie, Bruce’s practice focuses on counseling private equity sponsor clients on leveraged buyout debt financing and related matters, including dividend recapitalizations, asset-based lending facilities, cross-border transactions, venture debt and ESOP financing transactions, among other areas. His clients also include debt investment funds, publicly traded companies and privately held venture, founder and private equity sponsor portfolio companies in a variety of industries.

From the life sciences to the retail and entertainment industries, Bruce represents clients in various industries and sectors, including transportation and automotive, healthcare, banking, the financial and retail services.

Bruce received his J.D. from Rutgers Law School and his B.A., with honors, from Rutgers University. Prior to joining Perkins Coie, Bruce was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig and a partner at Kirkland Ellis.
