Venable Welcomes Real Estate Attorney Robert J. Gorzelany
Summary: Venable’s New York Real Estate office added an experienced real estate attorney to its team.
Gorzelany will focus his practice on commercial leasing, representing landlords and tenants in New York City and across the nation. Generally, he works with owners/operators on the landlord side and financial service, hedge fund, media, retail, healthcare/medical, fashion, sports, and publishing industry companies on the tenant side. He also advises clients in acquisitions/dispositions, finance, construction, and joint ventures.
Venable New York Real Estate Practice chair and vice-chair of the National Real Estate Practice, Peter G. Koffler, said, “Robert joins one of the most comprehensive real estate practices in the US, where his commercial leasing experience will help with the growing needs of our client base.”
New York partner-in-charge Matthew T. McLaughlin added, “Robert’s arrival follows on the heels of hiring Eric Prager, Bill Haddad, and William Wagner, who are now partners in our New York office. These additions enable us to further bolster our capabilities in our New York office by strengthening our core practices.”
Gorzelany earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from Williams College in English Literature.
