Dykema Continues Dallas Growth with Addition of Walter J. Dunn
Summary: A corporate finance attorney has joined Dykema in Dallas, continuing its record-breaking growth in the past year.
Dykema announced the addition of Walter J. Dunn to their Dallas office. Dunn will join the Corporate Finance practice group. The Dallas office has added 14 attorneys in just over a year, which has forced the law firm to acquire additional space in the Comerica Bank Tower for all of the attorneys and staff.
Dunn joins Dykema from Womack Phelps Puryear Mayfield & McNeil, P.A. in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He also has experience at other Am Law 100 and 200 firms including over ten years with McGuire Woods. He will focus his practice on the negotiation and drafting of contracts for engineering, procurement, and construction of large projects.
Dallas Office Managing Member Chris Kratovil said, “We are extremely excited to add Walter to our growing roster in Dallas. His distinctive experience working on large construction projects, both within and outside of the Energy industry, enhances our capabilities and will be a huge benefit to many of our clients.”
Some of Dunn’s experience includes advising clients with the preparation and negotiation of power purchase and sale agreements, tolling agreements, master forward trading agreements and related credit support agreements and annexes, operation and maintenance contracts, long-term service agreements, interconnection agreements and equipment purchase.
Dunn earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and an MBA in Business Administration and a B.S. in Business Economics from Arkansas State University.
