Cooley Welcomes Securities and Commercial Litigator
Cooley LLP announced the addition of securities and commercial litigator Eric A. Kuwana. He joins as a partner in their Washington D.C. and New York offices from Katten Muchin Rosenman, where he was partner and co-chair of their securities litigation and enforcement practice.

Global Litigation chair Michael Attanasio said, “Eric is a highly sought after first-chair trial lawyer who advocates vigorously for his clients. Kuwana works with companies, their officers, directors and board members in handling complex shareholder, securities, derivative, SEC enforcement matters as well as internal and government investigations. Kuwana has previously served as White House Office of Counsel to the President for President George H.W. Bush. He has also served as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Transportation. Before joining Katten Muchin Rosenman, Kuwana was with Patton Boggs.

Kuwana earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas.
