Akerman Welcomed 13 Labor and Employment Lawyers in Seven Months

Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm, has seen substantial growth in the past seven months in their Labor and Employment Practice Group. The firm has added 13 labor and employment lawyers in just seven months, including Zachary Bulthuis, Michelle Lee Flores, Jeffrey Horton Thomas, Jeffrey Kimmel, and Jessica Travers.
Since 2016, the Labor and Employment Practice Group headcount has more than doubled from 21 to 50 lawyers. The addition of these lawyers to their offices in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Texas, Washington D.C., and throughout Florida enhance the firm’s capabilities in multi-district wage and hour and whistleblower litigation as well as class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and other federal, state and local statutes.
