V&E Welcomes Antitrust Attorney as Counsel
Summary: Vinson & Elkins added experienced antitrust attorney Greg Wells to their Washington D.C. office.
Vinson & Elkins LLP announced the addition of Greg Wells as counsel in their global Antitrust practice. Wells, with roughly twenty years of experience with clients in the technology, chemical, pharmaceutical and financial services sectors, will be based in the Washington D.C. office. Wells joins from Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, where he was of counsel in their antitrust practice.
V&E Complex Commercial Litigation practice group co-leader and managing partner of the Washington D.C. office Craig Seebald said, “Greg is a seasoned attorney who adds value and strength to our nationally recognized antitrust practice. We are pleased to welcome him to V&E and look forward to his contributions to the firm and our clients.”
The Washington D.C. office received two other former Morgan Lewis attorneys earlier this year – Darren Tucker and Hill Wellford.
Wells will focus his work on advising companies in private antitrust litigation and government investigations as well as state and federal antitrust and distribution compliance issues such as licensing and intellectual property. He said, “V&E is the perfect fit for me and my clients. I am especially pleased to be part of the firm’s highly regarded antitrust practice, which has a strong global platform and deep roster of impressive lawyers, including my friends Hill and Darren.”
Wells earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis.
