Mayer Brown Welcomes Ameer Ahmad in Chicago
Summary: Mayer Brown welcomed a new M&A and capital markets partner in their Chicago office.
Mayer Brown’s leader of the global Corporate & Securities practice, Marc F. Sperber, said, “The continued expansion of our corporate capabilities in the US is a strategic priority for our firm. Ahmad will focus his practice on advising buyers and sellers through transactions such as public and private acquisitions and dispositions, LBOs, restructurings and joint ventures. He will also counsel clients in capital markets matters including public and private securities offerings and private placements.
Partner-in-charge Rebecca S. Ahmad earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and a B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
