Arent Fox LLP announced the addition of a former United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York to their New York office. High profile prosecutor Robert L. Capers will co-lead the firm’s Government Enforcement & White Collar practice, greatly aiding in their ability to continue a strong seven-year straight trend of growth.
Capers had success prosecuting high-profile cases involving racketeering, public corruption, and international narcotics trafficking. He began his career in 1996 at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, working under Robert M. Morgenthau. In 2003, he moved to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York to serve as a line and supervisory prosecutor.
