Blank Rome Names New Chief Information Officer

Blank Rome LLP has a new chief information officer. Joining from Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, Andrea J. Markstrom will be leading the technology infrastructure and support operations of the firm from the New York office.
Chairman and Managing Partner Alan J. Hoffman said, “We are delighted to welcome Andrea to Blank Rome. We’re confident that Andrea’s solid technology and leadership experience in both the legal and corporate settings, coupled with her creative approaches to providing innovative client service, will help us continue to advance as a Firm and achieve great results on behalf of our clients.”
Markstrom will be in charge of the entire firm’s technology and security initiatives across all practices and locations. She will be leading the members of the technology team while working closely with the rest of the firm’s leadership team, practice groups, and administrative departments.
Before joining Faegre, Markstrom was the group manager for the Target Corporation over the company’s technology infrastructure. She received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota in International Relations.
