Dudziak will focus his work on the energy sector’s project finance and development, tax equity financings, renewable energy project construction and term lending, back-leverage financings, and more. He has experience in negotiating the agreements that are essential in energy projects like site control, supply, power purchase, EPC and operations and maintenance agreements.

Managing partner of the Chicago office, Mark Rust said, “Ralph has deep knowledge and a nuanced understanding of large-scale energy projects and the many financing considerations to which all parties must be attuned. His transactional expertise will be extremely valuable for the firm’s financial institution clients who are active in this space.”

Barnes & Thornburg has added eight partners to the Chicago office this year. The location is their second largest, with the biggest office being in Indianapolis.

Dudziak was honored last year with the “Top Lawyer in Illinois” award for the Corporate Finance category by the Leading Lawyers Network. He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University and his B.A. from Augustana College. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois and to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
