Stroock Welcomes Robert Hauser to Real Estate Practice
Summary: The former Senior GSA lawyer Robert A. Hauser will be joining the Real Estate Practice Group at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan in Washington D.C.
Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP is bringing Robert A. Hauser aboard their Real Estate Practice Group. He will be a consultant in the Firm’s Washington D.C. office. Hauser is a former Senior Assistant Regional Counsel for the General Services Administration (GSA) for 17 years and will be a great aid for the Government Real Estate team at the firm.

Hauser will focus on counseling real estate clients with acquisitions, dispositions, construction and financing matters that involve government leases and operational, litigation support and compliance issues.
Co-Managing Partner of the DC office and Co-Chair of the Real Estate Practice Group Jeffrey R. Keitelman said, “Bob’s expert knowledge of and significant relationships with the GSA and other agencies of today will add tremendous value to our clients on both current and future matters and will significantly enhance our client’s effectiveness in the government real estate space. In addition, Bob is well respected and well liked; we are very pleased to have him aboard.”
Hauser has also served as the counsel in the Office of the General Counsel, Naval Air Systems Command for the Department of the Navy counseling clients on award and administration of contracts. He stated, “I am both thrilled and proud to be working with attorneys who I have long recognized as among the most highly skilled and ethical attorneys representing private sector building owners. It is genuinely an honor to be part of this legal team.”
He earned his J.D. from the American University School of Law and his B.A. from George Mason University.
