Perkins Coie Gains New Corporate Practice Partner
Summary: The Dallas office of Perkins Coie has received added help in their corporate practice with the addition of partner Craig A. Lackey.
After holding various in-house positions for the last 27 years, Craig A. Lackey is moving back to the law firm world at Perkins Coie. Lackey will be joining the firm as a partner in their Dallas corporate practice. There his work will focus on consumer lending-based restructurings and financial transactions.

His most recent position as a general counsel and chief compliance officer was with residential mortgage banking company, Caliber Home Loans, Inc. Lackey has also developed expertise in consumer finance regulatory and compliance issues as well as managing complex litigation cases.
The regulatory compliance work that Lackey does involves servicing reviews and other material for companies that are subject to state and Consumer Financial Services Bureau examinations, assisting with mergers and acquisitions of mortgage banking companies, and advising on matters from whole loan and mortgage servicing rights purchase and sale agreements.
Perkins Coie is no stranger to Lackey. He worked in the Los Angeles office over 20 years ago and is excited to be back with the firm. Lackey earned his B.A. from St. Louis University and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law.
