Greenberg Traurig M & A Practice Welcomes New Member
Greenberg Traurig LLP has further enhanced their Mergers & Acquisitions Practice by adding Frank Martire III as Shareholder. Martire will be coming to Greenberg Traurig in New York from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
Greenberg Traurig's efforts include the recent additions to the practice include Joe Cosentino and Ivan Presant from Clifford Chance
. Martire will be another valuable asset with his experience working for almost eight years with Michael Aiello in the Corporate Department at Weil's. He has a plethora of knowledge working in the M&A and divestitures area in addition to investment banking and shareholder issues.
Martire will continue his work by focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures with public companies. He will also be able to counsel clients on activist defense measures, corporate governance matters, and more. He stated about his move "I am excited about the opportunity to work alongside Greenberg Traurig's international team of M&A lawyers whose values reflect my own."
The law firm has also grown their Corporate & Securities Practice with the addition of eleven shareholders in New York, London, Mexico City, Ft. Lauderdale, Denver, New Jersey, and Tokyo. They were named in May as one of America's top corporate law firms in the 2015 Annual Law and the Boardroom Study. This award is decided by over 500 participating directors and general counsel of publicly traded companies. The top 25 law firms are included in the ranking.
Martire gained his J.D. from the University of Connecticut Law School and a B.S. from Fairfield University.
