Skadden, Simpson Thacher and Wachtell Advise on $860 Million Merger
MeadWestvaco, Global packaging company, plans to shut down its office products business by turning off the unit. It plans to later merge it with rival Acco Brands in an $860 million deal. MeadWestvaco has recently moved away from being a paper supplier to a maker of packaging products for major clients like Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble and Wal-Mart.
