Rosenthal faces a discrimination case

Elly Rosenthal, former Proskauer CFO, faces a discrimination case. Rosenthal frequently defended employers against discrimination claims. She claims that the firm where she worked for 18 years has demoted and ultimately fired her because of her gender, age, and a perceived disability following a medical leave. During this tenure she was treated for breast cancer. When Rosenthal came back to work, she was immediately removed from the CFO post and demoted to chief administrative financial officer. Attorney David Sanford of Sanford Wittels & Heisler is taking care of Rosenthal's case. She seeks $10 million in compensatory and punitive damages.
