New firms will represent guilty Seattle police officers

Stafford Frey Cooper, Christie Law Group PLLC and Freimund Jackson Tardif LLP have been chosen to represent some guilty Seattle police officers. These officers have been accused of misconduct, excessive use of force, wrongful arrest and death, and violations of civil rights. These three firms will be on contract to retort to requirements for legal aid from Seattle police officers involved in shootings. They will also represent them at investigation ordered by King County. Pete Holmes, City Attorney, wants his lawyers to handle more cases of misconduct in-house so as to save money.
