Hunton & Williams Donate More than 60,000 Hours

For several years, the law firm Hunton & Williams has been known for its generous pro bono practice. Every lawyer with the firm donates hours for those clients who cannot afford lawyers, though who need legal representation. Wally Martinez, a managing partner, said, ''I am very proud of the commitment to service, again, demonstrated by our lawyers.'' Noting the firm's lawyers and staff members show ''tremendous community support for those in need'', George Hettrick, chair of the Pro Bono Leadership Committee, said Hunton & Williams is a model for all law firms. The firm was honored by the Pro Bono Institute's John H. Pickering Award as well as the 2011 Pro Bono Award by National Law Journal.
