According to a story published in the National Law Journal this week, the percentage of graduates from the country's top law schools filtering into the country's top law firms fell by 3 percent from the year 2009 to 2010.

The top 50 law schools sent 27.3% of their graduates to the NLJ's top 250 firms in 2010, while in 2009, those same 50 sent 30.3% of their class to the NLJ's top 250 firms.
