Juris Doctor, Boston College Law School
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications, University of Southern California

Veronica joined BCG Attorney Search in 2005. Born and raised in Southern California, Veronica earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California, double majoring in political science and communications.

Knowing that she would eventually settle in Los Angeles, Veronica made the decision to attend law school in a different part of the country. After weighing her options and dragging her mother along on a cross-country tour of several law schools, she chose to attend Boston College Law School. This opportunity proved to be extremely valuable and enabled Veronica to gain a unique perspective on practicing law on the opposite side of the country. While studying at Boston College, she participated in a clinical program at the district attorney's office and also worked for a small litigation firm in the city. Upon her return to Los Angeles, she accepted a position as a county prosecutor, which she held for a number of years before joining a small Los Angeles-based litigation firm.

After five years of practicing law, Veronica was "recruited" to become a recruiter when a trusted friend encouraged her to explore opportunities in legal recruiting. Veronica has found recruiting to be a perfect match for her personality and enjoys having a career that is so focused on establishing relationships. Whether she is searching for a unique opportunity to meet a candidate's personal and professional goals or meeting with a law firm to discuss its hiring needs, Veronica enjoys being part of a process she believes is as crucial to the individual candidate's happiness as it is to the success of the law firm looking to fill a need.

In her spare time, Veronica dedicates herself almost entirely to her young daughter—the most demanding boss she's ever had! She also very much enjoys reading and cooking and never, ever misses a USC football game.

Veronica's Q&As

  • I believe that working with the right recruiter is essential to the success of the job search. Working with Veronica was not only a success but a pleasure from start to finish. She kept me well-informed through the entire process, gave me advice whenever I needed it, prepared me for my interviews, and provided me with a continual source of encouragement. She is hard-working, thorough, responsive, supportive, and honest. In the end, she was more than just an excellent recruiter; she was a good friend. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her, and I would recommend her services to anyone who is looking for a recruiter who will do her very best to find the job that's best for you. G.K.
