Job Overview:
A nationally respected law firm is seeking a seasoned Of Counsel attorney to join its litigation team, focusing on high-stakes pharmaceutical and medical device products liability matters. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Daubert and Federal Rule of Evidence 702 motions, excellent legal writing capabilities, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset. This hybrid position is available in multiple U.S. markets and is suited for a highly skilled litigator looking to contribute to and help lead complex case strategy.

Location:

• Short Hills, NJ

Duties:

• Draft and review complex legal briefs, discovery responses, motions, and memoranda

• Lead and guide associates through litigation processes

• Communicate directly with clients and legal teams

• Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants

• Participate in depositions and fact-finding investigations

• Contribute to and help execute litigation strategy in high-profile matters

• Handle Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice with a focus on pharmaceutical and medical device issues

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience

• Experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or similar setting preferred

• Deep knowledge of Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence and Daubert litigation strategy

• Demonstrated success in managing or assisting with complex products liability cases

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical and medical device sectors is a strong asset

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited and nationally recognized law school

• Strong academic track record

Certifications:

• Active bar license in the jurisdiction of application

• Admission to the New York Bar is highly desirable
