A law firm based in Knoxville is seeking an Associate Attorney to manage legal processes from inception through post-judgment remedies. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality legal representation, handle a high-volume caseload, and demonstrate exceptional legal skills. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing all legal processes from the beginning to post-judgment remedies. They will provide top-quality legal representation, handle a high-volume caseload, and collaborate closely with the Managing Attorney.

 

Duties:

  • Manage all legal processes from inception through post-judgment remedies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Provide high-quality legal representation and treat all customers with fairness and respect.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment by effectively managing caseloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain an active Tennessee license and stay updated with legal regulations and practices.
  • Demonstrate exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Analyze and provide expert advice on legal and regulatory risks associated with cases.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve final resolutions of cases.
  • Travel to various courts within the state of Tennessee as required for legal representation and court hearings.
  • Work closely with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.

 

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Tennessee.
  • Demonstrated exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to various courts within Tennessee for legal proceedings.
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to work closely with the Managing Attorney.
