Job Details:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing a diverse range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
  • Represent employers in various legal settings, including court proceedings, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations, focusing on handling class/collective actions and cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contracts, employment torts, and non-compete agreements.
  • Offer advice and counsel to employers on various labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, preferably with a background in employment law.
  • Active admission to the Alabama Bar or the ability to obtain admission quickly; Mississippi Bar admission is also preferred.
  • Familiarity with current court and employment-related agency procedures at both state and federal levels.
