Job Title: Senior Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Attorney to join its team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil litigation, exceptional research, writing, analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing cases in state and federal courts. The Senior Attorney will provide high-quality legal representation, conduct and defend depositions, manage case dockets, and appear in court as necessary.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience conducting and defending depositions.
• Proficiency in managing a case docket.
• Courtroom appearance experience preferred.
• Experience handling multi-district litigation is a plus.
• Trial experience is desirable.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar.
