Litigation Associate Attorney

Miami office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks associate attorney with 3-25 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload through trial and oversee and assist in management of cases. Will be attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Preparing pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents. Preparing timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities. Ability to prioritize work load based on deadlines. Communicating effectively with attorneys and paralegal. Experience in a diverse volume of litigation involving professional liability, director and officer liability, legal malpractice, architect and engineer, labor and employment law, construction defect, and commercial litigation would be helpful. Must have familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of ProLaw and Acuity are a plus. Should be a member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar.

The candidate should have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. Ability to delegate and prioritize as necessary is needed. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
