The selected candidate will be responsible for addressing a wide range of healthcare compliance issues and providing expert legal counsel to clients.

Duties:

  • Handle healthcare regulatory compliance matters, including analysis of the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.
  • Provide counsel on healthcare regulatory, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse issues.
  • Manage payor audits and collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Work on healthcare fraud investigations and electronic discovery.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, opinions, and reports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop legal strategies and provide support in various healthcare compliance issues.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.
  • Experience in analyzing healthcare regulatory, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse issues.
  • Familiarity with healthcare fraud investigations and electronic discovery.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • License to practice law in New York.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of New York.
