A law firm in Greenville, SC is seeking a talented Products Liability Attorney to join its active and dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a focus on producing high-quality written work. This role offers autonomy in handling assigned cases while benefiting from the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators.

 

Duties:

  • Work on all aspects of litigation in multiple jurisdictions, including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial.
  • Handle assigned cases with autonomy, while also collaborating with a team of experienced litigators.
  • Write compelling briefs and memoranda for state and/or federal courts.
  • Utilize technology efficiently to ensure quick turnaround on written work.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
  • Experience writing briefs and memoranda for state and/or federal courts.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in using technology for legal research and document production.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the South Carolina Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent written communication skills with a focus on producing high-quality legal documents.
  • Strong oral communication skills for interactions with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
