Real Estate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Real Estate Attorney with 3+ years of experience in real estate law practice and 3-6 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes related to real estate matters, including HOA, landlord/tenant law, business litigation, and personal injury. This role involves preparing cases for trial, drafting legal briefs, conducting depositions, and advocating for clients in court. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in legal software are essential for success in this position.

Duties:

• Manage litigation cases related to real estate matters, including HOA, landlord/tenant law, business litigation, and personal injury.
• Develop agreements, negotiate contracts, settle claims, and advocate for clients in court.
• Prepare cases for trial by drafting legal briefs, conducting depositions, and participating in mediation.
• Independently manage cases and ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with legal secretaries for accurate calendaring and timely document filing.
• Utilize legal software and systems for efficient case management.
• Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards while representing the firm and its clients.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of real estate law practice.
• 3-6 years of litigation experience.
• Strong background in real estate law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
