Job Overview:
A prominent law firm, located in Los Angeles, CA, is looking for a skilled mid-level attorney to join their Privacy Litigation team. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual with a strong background in litigation to contribute to a national practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for privacy law and the ability to navigate complex legal matters.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of case preparation, including trial preparation and strategy.
  • Draft and review legal documents, such as briefs, motions, discovery requests, and memoranda.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on privacy laws at the federal, state, and international levels.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategies.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and changes in privacy law.
  • Provide support in settlement negotiations and case resolution.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus on privacy law.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Experience managing case files from inception to resolution.
  • Ability to handle complex subject matter efficiently and effectively.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the California State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Relevant State Bar membership is required (California Bar for this position).

Skills:

  • Advanced legal research and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with privacy laws, both domestic and international.
  • Excellent organizational and case management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
