A leading family law firm is actively seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join its Denver-based team. This hybrid role allows for remote work, while requiring in-person attendance for court appearances and occasional client meetings. Duties

  • Manage a wide variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support

  • Provide legal representation in hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings

  • Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, declarations, and settlement agreements

  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients and opposing counsel

  • Offer strategic legal counsel and negotiate settlements when applicable

  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure case success

  • Handle time-sensitive matters and meet court-imposed deadlines

  • Participate in firm projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing family law

  • Active and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar

  • Strong writing samples demonstrating clarity and persuasive legal reasoning

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Strong references attesting to legal competence and professionalism

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado and in good standing

Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of family law, including divorce, custody, and financial support

  • Advanced legal research and analytical skills
