Job Overview:
A well-established, expanding national law firm is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney to join its team in Denver, Colorado. This hybrid role is ideal for experienced family law practitioners looking for low billable hour expectations, access to advanced legal technology, and meaningful case involvement. Attorneys must reside in Colorado to attend court proceedings and client meetings as needed. A $25,000 signing bonus is currently being offered for this position.

Location:

  • Denver, CO

Duties:

  • Manage a diverse family law caseload including:

    • Divorce

    • Child custody and support

    • Spousal support

    • Property division

  • Represent clients in court, depositions, and mediations

  • Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements

  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients

  • Work collaboratively with paralegals and other attorneys in a team-based environment

  • Stay informed on updates and best practices in Colorado family law

  • Ensure accurate, detail-oriented case management across multiple files

  • Participate in internal training, team meetings, and professional development initiatives

  • Perform other related legal duties or firm projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing family law

  • Active license to practice law in Colorado and in good standing

  • Excellent legal drafting and written communication skills

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to handle multiple cases while maintaining a client-focused mindset

  • Litigation experience preferred (not required); candidates from other practice areas with a genuine interest in family law are welcome

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the Colorado State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong mediation and negotiation abilities

  • Professional interaction with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage case timelines

  • Strong time management and adaptability in a fast-paced legal setting
