Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking a qualified Corporate Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent organizational and drafting skills, and previous experience in an Am Law 100 law firm. The Corporate Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support in various corporate transactions.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents related to private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support corporate transactions.
• Assist in due diligence processes and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to ensure legal strategies align with business goals.
• Participate in negotiations and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and joint venture transactions.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• Strong drafting and organizational skills.
• Experience in an Am Law 100 law firm.
