Job Title: Case Development Intake Attorney

Job Overview:

A reputable law firm based in Irving, TX, is seeking a dedicated and proactive attorney to lead the early-stage development of personal injury claims. This role involves close collaboration with a case manager and interaction with potential clients, witnesses, and insurance representatives. From intake through pre-litigation evaluation, the position requires comprehensive investigation, evidence preservation, and case readiness to ensure optimal client outcomes.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50 matters in the pre-litigation development phase

  • Lead investigative efforts, including:

    • Collecting accident reports and property damage documentation

    • Conducting site inspections and photographing relevant scenes

    • Requesting public records and driver histories

    • Gathering witness statements and conducting background research (criminal and social media)

  • Support the medical development of client claims and coordinate treatment timelines

  • Draft and send representation letters; manage open records and document requests

  • Handle client property damage claims and related communications with adjusters

  • Prepare and submit regular status updates and internal case reviews

  • Maintain ongoing client contact and provide consistent updates

  • Participate in client onboarding through in-office, remote, and field sign-ups

  • Respond to after-hours potential client inquiries on a rotating basis

  • Ensure file quality and compliance with internal performance metrics

  • Collaborate with firm management on case strategy and resolution discussions

  • Handle special assignments as delegated by supervisory attorneys

Requirements:

  • Active Texas law license in good standing

  • 0-3 years of experience in personal injury or relevant civil practice

  • Willingness to work evening or weekend shifts for client intake, as needed

  • Commitment to excellence in client service and results

  • Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Texas

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and investigative abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional demeanor with clients and internal teams

  • Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency preferred

  • Ability to motivate and lead support staff

  • Skilled in multitasking and adapting in a fast-paced legal environment

  • Comfortable using legal technology and CRM platforms

  • Experience with legal intake or customer acquisition is a plus
