Job Overview

A premier Texas-based personal injury law firm is seeking a full-time Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in the Dallas–Irving area. This position offers a competitive base salary of $120,000, a 10% commission on all legal fees deposited, and a $15,000 first-year retention bonus. The role involves managing a caseload of personal injury matters and leading litigation efforts through all phases, including pleadings, discovery, and trial.

Duties

  • File legal pleadings and draft petitions

  • Conduct written and oral discovery

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Manage a docket of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle and premises liability matters

  • Supervise a dedicated legal support team

  • Ensure case milestones and deadlines are met

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff effectively

Requirements

  • Prior litigation experience with personal injury or civil matters preferred

  • Strong case management and multitasking ability

  • Comfortable handling courtroom proceedings and depositions

  • Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing

Skills
